Blue Barn Boards - Lois Hillman

Lois has found great satisfaction creating a useable piece of art from a slab of wood. Fortunately for her, charcuterie boards are very popular. Chipping off the loose bark with an axe, cutting the shape of the ends with a ban saw, using various sanding equipment, hand smoothing knots and imperfections, adding a wood burned design with a hand tool, and finally polishing the board with a food safe finish feeds her soul.
